The International Six Metre Association (ISMA) is seeking a freelance communications professional to support its annual championships (Europeans and Worlds – one event per year).

The role focuses on delivering press and social media coverage before and during each event, supporting ISMA’s visibility and helping to promote one of the most historic classes in sailing.

Key responsibilities include:
Liaison with event organisers, host clubs and sponsors
Preparation of pre-event and daily regatta press releases
Management of international media distribution
Social media updates before and during the event
Coordination with photographers and videographers
On-site press office support and post-event media summary

Profile sought:
Freelance communications / PR professional
Fluency in English (mandatory)
Media and event experience required
Sailing knowledge strongly preferred
